My best friends just got a Magic Jack last night and they love it already! They get free Call Waiting, Free Long Distance and Local Service, Free Call Forwarding, Free Voice Mail and FREE Directory Assistance (I have to pay $1.99 for that each call!). They called me last night and this morning using the Magic Jack- and I can't tell the difference! The calls are clear and crisp, just like you'd expect with a regular land line, but WAY cheaper! It's only $19.99 a YEAR instead of the $30 a month I'm spending.
I think I'm gonna get a Magic Jack next- you just plug it into the USB port on your pc and the other end goes into your regular phone- so I can still use my caller id/answering machine I have now.
